These are all from my current Classics Club list. Which look good to you?

I haven't read any of them... but 'Iron Heel' is (slowly) working its way through my "read soon" list. It'll take a while though... Maybe.... August?
ReplyDeleteIron Heel unfortunately seems like it's become topical again...
DeleteIndeed. I really didn't think I'd need "living through the Rise of Fascism" on my Bingo card - but here we are...
DeleteSo many of these are also on my TBR. (The only one I've read for sure is Nella Larsen's, maybe also the Eudora Welty...I muddle up which of hers I've read.) Happy Spinning!
ReplyDeleteI'm also pretty sure I haven't read that Eudora Welty--but not entirely sure!
DeleteBoth of those London pieces are good, though Martin Eden is also a bit of a bummer. I hadn't heard of that particular Cather!
ReplyDeleteI think it's one of the lesser-known Cathers, but it's also one of the last I have left.
DeleteI really liked Passing. Haven't read any of the others, though that Gissing novel is on my TBR list. Hope you spin a good one! :D
ReplyDeletePassing would be a very good spin. And it's short! ;-)
DeleteI loved 10 but had to DNF 5, and we have one in common!!
ReplyDeleteHere is mine:

Bulgakov would be a good spin!
DeleteI've read two on your list - Passing by Nella Larsen and Heart of a Dog by Bulgakov. Both are ones I want to re-read. Good luck with the spin!
ReplyDeleteBoth of those would be good spins. And short!
DeleteI haven't read one of these (not often that happens). I've read several of the authors. Cather is a delight. The title The Four Just Men is intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI'm running out of Willa Cathers...
DeleteThe Four Just Men is supposed to be a classic mystery (1905) but I've never read any of his.
I've not read any of these, but based on the authors alone, I'd pick the Willa Cather. I sure enjoyed My Antonía when I read it.
ReplyDeleteI'm running out Cathers I haven't read! (Oh, no!)
DeleteI have a couple of these on my extended list. Good luck with your spin
ReplyDeleteThanks! We'll find out soon now.
