OK, obviously feeling a bit lazy this evening, but if you didn't already know the poem, you should! And if you do, it likely amuses you to be reminded, right?
Good Intentions is Ogden Nash's book of 1942.

If this book is in on your bookshelf....you have a real "collectors item"! Ogden Nash is not often in print these days! Lazy? I was exhausted last evening after household chores, clipping the garden hedges, grocery run and 40 pages of Balzac in French! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I may have been shopping and cooking and a few things like that so the post ended up short...
DeleteI do have several of the Ogden Nash books with that style of cover--some are drawn by Maurice Sendak--aren't they fun?
...fun and very hard to come by!
DeleteHa! Thanks for the laugh. I needed one today. :D
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished!
DeleteYikes! lol That's something I worry about actually, as the deck on this rental property desperately needs repair (which you can't tell from above, so oblivion remains an option).
ReplyDeleteTermites in real life--not so good; termites in Ogden Nash? More please!
DeleteThis made me smile 😃 😊 Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it!
