Classics Club Spin #22. And the winner is...
That means it will be Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own for me. A very good spin choice indeed. I'm not really sure why I haven't already read it.
I suspect there may be lots of Classics Clubbers out there who have already read it. Do I have a treat in store?

That book looks awfully think for just an essay! Is there more in it? Commentary? I've not read it myself but I am sure you will enjoy it. I've only read To the Lighthouse and Mrs. Dalloway, both of which I loved...why did I stop there? So many books, so little time!ReplyDelete
OOPS "Thick", not "think"Delete
Maybe think, too!Delete
It also includes Three Guineas, which I also haven't read.
I'm like you--I loved To The Lighthouse & Mrs. Dalloway and then somehow stopped. I did also read the Common Readers (very good). I'm not really sure why I haven't read more. But now I will!
oh nooo... i have to read "The Egoist": Meredith... i've started it numerous times and now i have to really... gakReplyDelete
I've never even tried The Egoist--I knew better? No, not really--I know almost nothing about it. Hopefully this time's the charm for you!Delete
I'm a fan of this one. :)ReplyDelete
Very good to hear!Delete
I have not. But I need to read it.ReplyDelete
We missed out on our impromptu readalong by one number! Oh, well. Merry Christmas and enjoy Paris!Delete
I really, really liked this book! It is much more approachable and engaging than I thought it would be.ReplyDelete
Good to know!Delete
